About the MILT Hub
What is MILT? The Prestonwood Montessori Instructional Leadership Team (MILT) is a vertical team of Montessori experts working in service of our campus, from the classroom.
Who is MILT? We are Montessori teacher-leaders working together to maintain a sense of unity and collaboration toward common goals.
Vision. MILT is a steering and advisory collaboration of key expert Montessori Guides [teachers] entrusted with maintaining Prestonwood's quality as a public Montessori school.
Mission. From the classroom, MILT members serve as Montessori consultants for administration and Montessori coaches for department faculty. We monitor model fidelity and set long-range goals alongside SBDM and PTO.
With these goals in mind, we created this MILT HUB to support our entire campus in a unified way.
