Vision:
PWM to be established as an A+ accredited American Montessori Public School.
Mission:
Protect and sustain the life, philosophy and pedagogy of Dr. Maria Montessori.
Goal(s):
Ensure that Prestonwood students, teachers, and parents remain true to the fidelity and implementation of Montessori practices as we create, establish, and develop traditions unique to our culture.
Track and steer the “Campus Improvement Plan” toward the advancement of our schools' alignment to Montessori accreditation with respect to the six domains.
Prepare and provide information, presentations, and programing to ensure Montessori methodology is at the root of all we do: Parent Education and Development (4 events); Celebrate the life and legacy of Maria Montessori (2 events); Peace Day/Week/Cite; Bridging Ceremony; 5th Grade rollout; and 6th Grade pathway.
Next Step(s):
Divide responsibilities; Confirm dates; Plan programing for each event; and update the accreditation document.
